We welcome you to our website and hope you will be blessed by your visit with us. We believe
the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and it is our sole guide religiously. It is our goal to
worship as directed by God’s Word and to teach and obey the will of God as revealed in the
Bible.
For a history of the Berea church of Christ, please click on the History
link at the bottom of
this page. We moved into a new building in November of 2001, after meeting for nearly fifty
years at 104 John Street, on a half-acre lot.
We are now located at 357 North Dogwood Drive,
just one-half mile from Interstate 75, at exit 76. A map is available to help you locate the
building. For more information about our building, click on the building link on the home
page.
We would have you to note our plea, as this will help you to become better acquainted with us.
To know what we teach and why we teach it, is to let you know that we seek to be a church
governed by the Word of God, “rightly dividing the Word of Truth”
(2 Timothy 2:15).
We have
a Bible Correspondence Course that we would be happy to send you, at your request. We also
have a series of five video tapes for Bible study that we would be happy to let you view. All you
need do is call or email us and ask for information on these two avenues of Bible study.
The congregation here has three elders: Kenny Davis, Mike Grimes and Charles Moore. To learn more about these men, click on the link to elders.
I first
moved to Berea in 1971 to preach for the church here. My wife, LaJeania, and I raised our three
sons here during most of their formative years. Steve is an attorney in Nashville, Tennessee;
David is a doctor in Louisville, Kentucky and John is a TV producer and writer in Los Angeles,
California.
I have preached the Gospel of Christ for more than forty-five years. My wife is an
artist, using oils as her medium, and we both work closely together in the Lord’s work. We were
away from Berea for twenty-two years, but returned in December of 1997.
We hope you will visit us when you are in Berea. When you do, you will find a friendly
welcome awaiting you. If you have any questions about the church here or about our city, please
contact us at BereachurchofChrist@BereaCoC.com, or phone us at the number at the bottom of the page.
We hope you enjoy your visit with us at our website and we know you will enjoy your visit with
us at the services of the Berea church of Christ.

Charles E. Moore,
Minister
