OUR NEW BUILDING
357 NORTH DOGWOOD DRIVE
BEREA, KENTUCKY
The Berea church of Christ purchased
six acres of land on North Dogwood Drive in February of 2000. It is prime
property, only one-half miles from Interstate 75, at exit 76. During the past
several months we have been constructing a new church building on this site.
We are glad to announce that we held our first services there on Wednesday, October
17, 2001, and our Open House and Dedication took place Sunday, October 28,
2001.
In our new building we have a
Wall of Faith. This wall is located in the foyer and holds a special
place in our hearts, as well as in the new building. It is a wall which
includes the names of all congregations and individuals who assisted us in
the purchase of the property and/or the building itself. Any contributions made
toward this project will be permanently recognized on this "Wall of Faith".
This wall is beautifully done
with small plaques containing the names of the contributing congregations and
individuals, and also the names of loved ones, "in memory of" or
"in honor of". All contributions will be immediately recognized in
writing.
The Wall of Faith is a lasting
memorial to all who, through faith, helped the Berea church move forward into
the 21st Century in reaching the lost, first in the Berea area, and then into
other areas of God's earth. If you would like to have your name, or the name of
a loved one as a part of this Wall of Faith, please send your
contribution to "Berea church of Christ Building Fund" at P. O. Box 135, Berea,
KY 40403.
DIRECTIONS:
If you are traveling on Interstate 75, you will exit at Exit 76 and at the top
of the ramp, go West on U. S. 21 (Out of Town). Turn Right at the first street
(North Dogwood Drive) and go one-half mile. The building will be on your
left.
